Circuits is a randomized modulator from Created Sounds. A tape vinyl chorus phaser plugin. A short delay wanders to new targets at random, and that movement is what bends the pitch and creates its unique effect. A low-pass gate follows the note on the wet signal, darkening it as the sound fades.

The delay does not sweep back and forth on a repeating wave. Rate sets how often it picks a new destination. Damp sets how slowly it travels there, so a fast rate can still feel smooth and small, or a slow rate can jump. Depth sets how far the delay time is allowed to move. Turn it up and the pitch drift gets wider. Turn it down and the motion stays close to the original note.

Mix sets where that motion sits against the dry signal. Halfway, the wet and dry signals combine into a moving chorus. Fully wet, you hear the pitch movement on its own. LPG shapes the wet path as the note rings out. Low settings stay dark and close quickly. High settings open brighter and let the note hang on longer.

Rate sets how often the delay picks a new random target. Damp sets how slowly the delay chases those targets. High damp smooths fast rates. Depth sets how far the delay time is allowed to wander. LPG controls the low-pass gate. Low is dark and short. High lets the note stay brighter. Mix goes from dry to wet. Halfway is the chorus. Fully wet is the vibrato. Volume sets the output level, from −24 dB to +18 dB.

Randomize sets Rate, Damp, Depth, LPG, and Mix to a new position and leaves Volume where it is. Presets can be saved. The lamp shows when the effect is on.
